Not only happy with being the new fresh faces for the campaign, SHINee also released their own items with the brand: the Shini Star collection. It's a special edition.

Very cool, right? Even though I'm sure everyone who likes K-Pop is used to see their fav idols in cosmetic campaings, also for clothing brands and... gosh anything a K-Pop star sells is pure gold to their fans and the company, even if it's... dunno, something un-sexy like Q-Tips. 

Back to shiny business. Here are the products from the Shini Star collection!

Shini Star Clear BB Lotion

A light looking BB Cream. It must be really light, considering they actually named it Lotion, but it has the usual properties of a BB Cream, such as skin whitening, SPF and anti-wrinkles.

Shini Star Clear Pact

Two translucent compact powders for a mat finish. I like the tones, which I suppose are meant to even your skin tone in a subtle way.

And of course, no one would have been happy without something more... personalized, right? So there's also a nice selection of Lip Balms, each of them of a different flavor and picked by each member of SHINee.

Onew's choice: Peach !

JongHyun's choice: Grapefruit 

Key's Choice: Passion Fruit

Minho's Choice: Cherry!

Couldn't be happier! He's my favorite and I adore everything Cherry scented/flavoured/printed. I truly wonder if he picked that himself or was suggested to. But who cares! Minho Cherry lips for the win.

Taemin's Choice: Guava

Very unexpected, right? I thought only corny and obvious fruits would be picked. But they got creative and that hints the guys tried their best to create something special their fans would love. Since it's not just about being pretty and selling because of that, right? ....Right? Guys? 

Also, noticed the very nice detail of each member's signature after you hit pan on the Lip Balm? So instead of being sad because you ran out of it, now you get a very special tiny case for... pills? Who cares, it has their signature!

I thought this collection would be filled with flashy products. Like... lipsticks, mascaras, many sparkly and colorful eyeliners and equally sparkly nail polishes. But then I got real and thought it was fair their special products were products they could use themselves to be able to promote them. Although I still can imagine Key pulling off an amazing collection of colorful eyeliners... I'm allowed to dream.

Anyway! It's very nice the whole line is aiming for a very fresh and natural look. The Lip Balms aren't very tinted, the BB Lotion seems very light and for everyday use, as well as the compact powder.

THIS is the Behind the Scenes of SHINee during the photoshoot for the PLAY ETUDE campaign. It's such a lovely video that shows their ever playful side that proves why ETUDE HOUSE found them to be perfect for it. They make it really inviting, beyond the usual concept of "getting beautiful" but also being cheeky and having lots of fun while getting beautiful! Which... is mainly what I love about Make Up, and SHINee itself.
